Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to have an impact on society. Following this we have added safety measures to our existing practices and procedures to allow our team to work safely and provide reassurance for our clients. Our office team and visitors are required to wear additional PPE and social distance. We have hand sanitising procedures and signage within our office environment for all those in attendance. Our site team are required to wear their existing RPE and also social distance with tenants or clients that they may come into contact with. We fully understand and appreciate a situation where any domestic tenants may be shielding and works are programmed accordingly to suit any specific requirements. Online meetings are undertaken where it is not possible to meet our clients or team face-to-face safely.

Asbestos Services

Surveys

Asbestos surveying will determine the presence of asbestos in buildings. We can deliver on:

  • Refurbishment Surveys – Intrusive survey which is required when a building is due to undergo a refurbishment or upgrade works. This survey will locate and identify Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) in locations where refurbishment will take place.
  • Demolition Surveys – This survey will identify all asbestos so that it can be removed prior to demolition works. This type of survey usually requires the expertise of specially trained surveyors able to access areas of high risk. S3 Environmental surveyors are trained, experienced and ready to conduct your demolition survey.
  • Management Surveys – This standard survey will ensure you are meeting your legal obligations as the duty holder under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. The key objective to this survey is to produce an ‘asbestos register’ which states where asbestos is located. This survey will help manage asbestos during the normal occupation and use of your premises.
  • Re-Inspection Surveys – The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires that the condition of asbestos-based products require regular inspections and records updated periodically. This survey will assess previously identified asbestos and record the condition of the asbestos. A new and updated report will be available with any new recommendations that may be required.

Once the samples have been analysed a pdf report will be produced clearly displaying the positive and negative results via our very own software program which can be personally developed for your business. The report will provide recommendations ensuring full compliance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. S3 Environmental also specialise in the development of web-based technologies enabling larger projects to be streamlined and reports can be exported in any format to complement the file structure you require with your existing internal IT systems.

We pride ourselves on a paperless system.
